Galaxy Note 10 vs Galaxy S10 Comparison

Galaxy Note 10 vs Galaxy S10: one of the hardest choices to make?

It's hard to compare the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy S10, because they're both very similar phones; part of the same generation of Samsung Galaxy devices. Therefore, you can expect almost identical performance, especially as they use the same processor.

However, there are also the little details that differentiate the two devices - the S10 has a slightly higher pixel density, but the Note 10 comes with the S-Pen (cool but a perhaps a bit gimmicky). The S10 has the camera cutout at the top right of the device, while the Note 10 has it at the top centre. Oh, and also (for some reason) Samsung decided to keep the 3.5mm headphone jack on the S10, but decided to get rid of it on the Note 10. So if you have a really nice set of wired headphones that you want to continue using with your phone, you might want to opt for the S10 instead of the Note 10.

Galaxy Note 10 vs Galaxy S10: slightly different features, so which one should you buy?

As you can already guess, the main differences between the S10 vs Note 10 are in those extra features we mentioned, and let's be honest, none of them will be that big of a deal for most users. As a Note 10 owner, let me tell you that the S-Pen is not as useful as I thought it would be. Sometimes it's cool to write something on the device, or maybe create an abstract/modern art sketch or painting, but I find myself using it less and less.

As I've mentioned before, the S10 has a slightly higher pixel density and resolution, though that's not really a big deal. The Note 10 has a slightly larger screen (6.3" vs 6.1") to compensate for this. The positioning of the camera cutout is also a matter of preference. So which one should you buy? Honestly, go for the one that offers the best deal in refurbished form. Whether you buy an S10 or a refurbished Note 10, chances are you'll be satisfied.
