As its name suggests, the iPhone 13 mini is smaller and lighter, measuring 131.5 x 64.2 mm and weighing 141 g, compared to 143.6 x 70.9 mm and 177 g. It is also more powerful. It has an A15 processor, while the iPhone XS has an A12. In terms of battery life, you get almost half as much again from the iPhone 13 mini, 33 hours of use compared to 22. Both phones have 4 GB RAM, are available with up to 512 Gb of storage, and offer fast charging. The iPhone 13 mini also comes with ceramic shield screen protection, the iPhone XS doesn’t.

The iPhone XS offers a bigger screen and better portrait photos, the iPhone 13 mini is smaller and more powerful. The iPhone XS was the more expensive phone on its release date, but it is older. Whichever you pick you can get a great deal and save some money if you buy a refurbished model.
