Refurbished Hisense

Hello I received my order at 39117098, hisense staraddict 6, well packaged, fast, works, however I have a big disappointment The model is a version that must be very old on which you can no longer update, so I have an outdated model with little, instant messaging is different from the one I had before, but which now no longer recognizes my sim card, however was newer, I thought that the one received would be the same and it annoys me enormously because I particularly liked this model. Is there a solution? I can't install the latest update? Thank you for your help
