    After 4 years of correct operation (CD part ok but random door opening), the player gave up. The Beosound was opened by a professional repairer of top-of-the-range equipment in the Lyon region, who found some broken parts that had been "patched up by a handyman". He was able to restore the doors, Aux socket and mechanics, but the CD player was out of order. I had a bad experience with the refurbisher who, at the same time, supplied me with Beolab 8000s with bent bases (and suggested I straighten them myself).

    Great product, slight damage but that was as expected and not disturbing. Only downside was that it did not come with an original remote control, which means the volume cannot be controlled via the remote. Fortunately solved by using the Oktiv app, which is a universal app that also works on the Philips. With that, really a great buy for half the new price.

    I bought this to replace an older radio that couldn't receive my favourite radio stations when they moved to DAB+. Great service! Delivery was by return and the radio works perfectly - I've got all my favourite stations back. I can't see any wear and tear or other marks - it looks as good as new.
